Best way to present lots of words?

    Hi,

I have a summary sheet for a rather large document and the narrative can get pretty big per update. 500 words or so typically.

Holding these all in 1 cell is awkward and makes scrolling difficult, seperating it into multiple cells seems (to me at least) rather ugly and possibly confusing to users.

    Anyone have a solution?

Try the attached, which displays a large block of text
    in a form's label.

    Hi Ace,

I'm using excel 2003 so don't think I have that option. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

xLJer, sorry but clicking to view text would be even more inconvenient that it being difficult to scroll. Thanks for the suggestion though.

For now I've just made the font size 6 to minimise the scrolling issue, but this is fairly difficult to read.

2003 also supports text boxes if I am not mistaken..

It does. It's just in a different area so I didn't see it. Have it now. Seems to be fit for purpose. Thread solved!
