Assigning a value to items in a list box

I created a list using the data validation but not sure how to add a value to any of the items in the list.

The worksheet I am creating is for quoting, I wish to be able to pick certain items from lists that numerical values so that I can use them to come up with a price for my product.

    Any advice would be helpfull.

    Thanks

Build a table with the items in the first column and the prices in the second column. You could use the existing list and put the prices in an adjoining column.

On your main page, in the cells you wish to assign the price use the Vlookup function

problem is in all honesty I am very new to excel, I know what i learned in highschool, which wasn`t even much and anything else I am learning through help, I am going to post the spreadsheet for you to look at.

What I need it to do is once lets say Baltic Birch Plywood is selected from the drop box it is assigned the value of
11.50 than i will input code to take that value and multiply it by the S Sqft.

How will you identify the line items. There is no place for a description or SKU to identify the item. Perhaps you should also show us what the expected results should look like so that we can figure out the easiest way to provide you with a reasonable solution
