    Freeze Table Headers Independently

I've been searching far and wide throughout both Google and the Excel Forum. I finally came across a thread that is exactly what I'm looking for:
    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ou-scroll.html

This was responded to by saying that it's not possible or to use grouping (I have to convince others to use this and grouping isn't a desirable solution), but I'm hoping that since it's been more than 2 years, it could be possible.

Is it possible to freeze a table header and as you scroll down the page, when you come to another table header, the previous header isn't frozen, and the new header row is?
I understand that simply freezing the panes isn't the solution, and I can see a chance to hide the rows above your second header when you come to it by using the Worksheet_Change event, but that seems like it could bog down someone's computer if it's always running.

Here's a picture depicting what I'm talking about giving 3 separate time frames: FreezeTables.jpg.

    Thanks!

Nothing is absolute - a paradox in itself.

    Re: Freeze Table Headers Independantly

And it appears as though Excel has a feature built in which, when a table is selected (note that the Horn # column is selected within the Excel table), if no panes are frozen, then the header will replace the Excel column labels (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,etc.).

This is exactly what I want to do, but without the requirement to select within the given table as well as I would like the header to not replace the column labels and instead be an independent header with its intended formatting (red or blue as I've already made it).

Please let me know if this makes sense or not and perhaps I can explain it better.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    Re: Freeze Table Headers Independently

I know this is possible to some degree as I've been on websites that have independently dynamic frozen headers (though, unfortunately, I couldn't give you an example).
