    If #n/a

    Hello All,

Is there a way of displaying a message - whether it be a message box or a userform, If #N/A appears in a cell from a VLOOKUP.

Just so i can inform the user - that there is no information for this criteria.

    Regards

    Craig

    Dear JonesZoid:

If you are using Excell 2007 or beyond you can use

    [code]
    Iferror(vlookup(..),"Error message")
    [code]

For some reason none of your replies are showing on the New Posts list, so I'm just responding to see if that gets registered.

    All,

The Iferror works OK....but i would like a messagebox to pop up - to get the users attention.

Would i be better using a workbook_change vba macro??

    Craig.
