Help With Time Formula

Hi All,

I got a real head scratcher of a task, well at least for me, If anyone manages to find a solution I will make a donation to a charity of your choice to say thanks.

I have attached an example doc.

Basically I have two dates in Col A, B which are the date received and the date needed,

In Col C is the number of working days between the two dates using networking day formula, In Col D is the response time needed using a vlookup the table is in H:J

What we need is for that if its 1 working day it to add 1.30 working hours to the Date received date,

if its 2 working days for it to add 12 working hours to the date received

if it’s between 3-4 working days for it to add 2 working days to the date received

and for 5 or more to give a date two working days before Date needed in column B.

Looking at the file I think you need to get rid of the "2 working days" and put in an actual value of 48 hours etc for all of those type of values and where do you want the amended date to appear.

Hi,

Kind of, I need it to add 1.30 working hours (working hours classed as 9-5 Monday To Friday)

So if it was 16:00 we would need to respond the next working day by 9.30,

Sorry wasnt aware of the 5pm bit so a more complex formula would be needed which to be honest is a bit beyond me at the moment (still learning myself) hopefully one of the gurus will give both of us the answer.
