Value exceeding target to be negative

Hi, I'm working on a spreadsheet to measure performance.

Target is 10% and below
If actual is below or equal to 10%, then 100% achievement
If actual is above 10%, From 11% to 20%, then achievement is 90% and so on down until 0%
If actual is beyond 20%, then achievement should not exceed 0%

Hope it makes sense.. Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks in advance!

*Sorry about the title. halfway I realized that I do not need to go beyond 0% for penalty.

so what you you expect to see at 17% for instance?

where do you want this shown, where is the data etc?

i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Assuming your target in A1, your actual in B1
If C1 is measure:

You can replace A1 with 10% if you want.

Re: Value exceeding target to be negative

I have not worked out the workbook yet.
This spreadsheet is to measure calls abandon rate.

Every week, we will key in the actual abandon rate to measure the performance of the centre.
Following are the possible scenarios:
The target will always be 10%

Target Actual Achievement
10 7 100%
10 2 100%
10 10 100%
10 11 90%
10 15 50%
10 17 30%
10 20 0%
10 25 0%
10 27 0%
