Getting data from another workbook without using up too much memory

Hi everyone I have an excel workbook that has 31 days/ sheets on it with about 200 rows on each day with filled in cells and I have a few macros running on it too so uses alot of memory , basically I am wanting to know if there is a way to link another workbook for the original one to look up and see if cells a1 and d1 match the orginal workbooks a1 and d1 .
