Able to multi (de)select filter tick boxes?

Hello, I'm new to the forums

Basic question: In my filter I have about 1000 rows of data that include names and certain numerals. I wish to untick multiple items at once in the filter list (kind of how one can highlight a range of text by holding down a shift key on a web browser) rather than have to click 500+ times. Any advice appreciated, thank you.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think this is a limitation of Excel, but the filter method does allow for the text filters which may help.

Another trick would be to use a helper column and by some keyword you could avoid all of the clicking and unclicking.
