    Conditional format

I have the following conditional format under "Use a formula to determine which cells to format". "=SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","" )= $D2 & E$1". Instead of looking at just "A1", I would like to look at the entire "A" column. Is this possible? I have tried using "A1:A10000" but this is not working. Thanks.

    Hi

You could use A:A in your formula but referring to entire columns tends to slow things up

    Re: Conditional format

I have tried both posts #2 & #3 and neither work. Post #3 works just like my original formula. It still won't look at the entire column.
