Drop down list.

I have created a drop down list in 35 consecutive cells in one column. The selection is numbers 1 - 35 in each of the cells. However, the problem I have is that I do not want to be able to select the same number more than once. For example, if I choose the number 3 in cell B3, I do not want to be able to select the number 3 again in cell B6. I could sure use a little direction on this. Thanks.
