I have a large spreadsheet in Excel 2010 Pro. Many of my cells have comments. I need to calculate data in a small table then paste it into a comment. The table will have formulas in it. I only want to paste the values.
Can this be done?
Thanks

Hi
there is a lot of info on playing around with comments at this site
Thanks for the quick response Pepe. I understand how to put a picture into a comment (that macro is pretty neat!) but I need to find out if it is possible to paste a table into a comment. I tried saving a table into a format that could be picked up as a picture so I could use the macro you sent but without any luck.
Thanks for your help

In order to finalize this thread I was able to obtain an answer from another site which I now believe is correct. It is not possible to paste a table into a comment. I assume it is possible to do a screen dump of the table but I could not save the Excel table in a format that would be pasted into the comment as a picture. Anyway this is not practical for my purposes so I have not spent a lot of time on it.
The best way around displaying these tables that I have found is to name each table and do a "Go To". So instead of having a table in each of my numerous comments, I have resorted to having a name which links to the table by a Go To.
