hiding or password protecting data for 1 worksheet in workbook

We have a workbook sent to management weekly. I would like to add 1 more worksheet with data. Is it possible to protect or hide data in that worksheet for all, except those with the password for that worksheet.
I would like to avoid hiding the worksheet, just the data.

Thanks,
Sean

you can protect a worksheet. to protect the worksheet, right-click on the tab and select "protect"

or another way would be to hide the data by setting the text color and b/ground color to white?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Re: hiding or password protecting data for 1 worksheet in workbook

I was hoping to accomplish the following, or something similar:

I send you a workbook with sheet 1 and sheet 2. You can view data in sheet 1. Clicking on sheet 2, you are prompted for a password, and data on the sheet isn't viewable until the password is entered.

I tried a previous post, which was a VBA code prompting for a password. The code moved the cursor to the last cell in the workbook while asking for a password. But all you had to do was move cursor to A1 and the data at the top of the page was viewable.

Thanks,
Sean
