How to Sort by Colour

G'day. How does one sort by colour? eg. row 1 A B C D E F G is coloured yellow row 2 A B C D E F G is coloured purple row 3 9, 7 and 8 are coloured green. I want them to be on the top .

In excel 2003 it is not possible with formula.

You need VBA for that.

In excel 2007 and further I believe you can count on color.

(at least you can filter on color).
