    Help with formatting data

I have a worksheet that has data that looks like this:

    \1

If I try to create a chart out of that, it looks all wrong. Example.

If I rearrange the data to look like this:

    \1

My chart looks much nicer. Example.

The problem is, I have a LOT of data I need to go through. Is it possible to have the data rearranged automatically by excel? Is there a way for the Chart to look at the data and produce the second chart I posted?

I have no control how the data comes into me.

Try using a pivot chart based on your information. Attached is an example.
