Timesheet: Determining how long employee was onsite each day??

    Greetings,
Any ideas on this one would be tremendously appreciated. Can't seem to crack this nut:

End goal: Determine how long an employee was onsite each day within a certain period.
Issue: Data / format of badge report doesn't really lend itself to this. Let's use these two days as an example, where the time/date are in col A and the out/in status are in col. B ...

    Column A Column B
    1/25/2013
    7:56 am IN
    11:30 am OUT
    12:15 pm IN
    5:17 pm OUT

    1/26/2013
    7:34 am IN
    9:15 am OUT
    9:36 am IN
    12:15 pm OUT
    1:10 pm IN
    5:03 pm OUT

Any recommendations on building an automated way to determine how long this person was badged in each day??

    Thanks jpmnick

Often, when you copy/paste data to here from a worbook, the formatting is lost and it is very hard to make out the start and end of different data sets.

i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
