I have a general question about the capabilities of excel:
I am trying to make a formatted template on one sheet of a book that gathers its raw data from another sheet in the book. The raw data would come from the same source, so the formatting would be exactly the same (i.e. I could copy and paste the raw data right onto the sheet). The only problem I am having is that sometimes the amount of raw data is less. For example, one week, there might be 5 rows of data (always the same amount of columns), but another week it might be 8 rows of data. Is there anyway to set up a sheet that can reference the raw data, but when there is no data to reference, leave the referencing row blank or skip over it entirely to save space?
