Re: Multiplying Column header with the row items

    in Rowitems!D2
    =INDEX(Columnarview!$C$2:$L$9,MATCH(A2,Columnarview!A$2:A$9),MATCH(C2,Columnarview!$C$1:$L$1))

    and copy down

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Mm, D11 and D21 are incorrect in my solution.

The 2nd match is producing 1 instead of 10 ????

Re: Multiplying Column header with the row items

Ah it's picking up "Cust 1" instead of "Cust 10"

    Mmm...

maybe rename your "Cust 1" to "Cust 01", "Cust 2" to "Cust 02" etc

    then it will work

Thanks friends, for the immediate response, actually my requirement is little different, kindly go through the attached mail, i want the entire row to be generated in that format, the reason being the application what we use supports the price mapping to the customer row item wise, but we maintain our masters in the matrix format.

Please find attached Trials Revised excel
