How to create a new border type?

I'm an Excel 2003 user, and I need to create or download a new border type. I need to use non-predefined borders (broader double borders, double borders with broader lines, etc.), but I don't know if there's a tool available to do it. This used to be done by letting blank columns and rows, but that makes harder to work with functions and reduces the available space for data.

I apologize for my bad English, but it's not, by far, my first language.

I believe that as far as borders are concerned, what you have is what you get - you cant add anything to the borders
