    Excel keeps changing my inputs

First, and foremost, thank you for reading this post and trying to help.

I'm having an issue with excel in which excel keeps changing my inputs in a financial model I've been working on. I've referenced (linked) all the cells together, so a change in one field flows through the entire model. Recently though, Excel seems to be taking the wrong value from my cell designated for the growth rate. For example, even though Cell C6 may have a growth rate of 5%, and I apply growth by principal*(1+C6), for some reason, it applies a -2% rate, even though it shows as a positive 5% in cell C6.

I literally have no idea why it does this, and why it just started. I've been working on this model for days and this is really troubling. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, I would sincerely appreciate your help.

    Thank You

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Hey Norie,

I tried uploading the excel file, but it says the file is too large. So I took a screenshot of the situation. Hopefully it helps, if possible.

It's interesting because regardless what value I assign to the "rent growth rate", whether it's 3.5% or 50%, the it generates the same output as 1461. I'm really hoping you may have an idea of how to help.

    Thank you
