Excel file takes a long time to open

I have an excel file that takes like 10 minutes to open. The file not particularly large, only about 6mb. It has 8 worksheets. It has no links. It has one vba module with two really simple macros. It has one connection to an olap server. Other files on the same network open quickly.

Here's what I've done so far in troubleshooting the problem:
1. Removed unused connections.
2. Deleted all rows below the last known populated row.
3. Deleted all columns to the right of my last known populated column.
4. Deleted any unused names.

Any ideas on what might cause a file to take so long to open?
