    I would like to make study sheet from a spreadsheet using excel.

    Hi everyone, I'm trying to memorize some info for school. A nice fellow in the year ahead of mine gave my whole class a spreadsheet of the some of the stuff that can only be learned through memorization. I would like to make it so I can test my self from it. I put a picture of what the spread sheet looks like. Basically the 1st column is a list of viruses and the top row is information I have to know about that particular virus. I froze the first row and 1st column, because there are a lot viruses/things I have to know about each virus, so it will make it easier to quiz myself... but I was wondering if there was a way to black the cells and when I click on the cell I can to see the answer for just that particular box. Or if anyone has any better or easier suggestion, thanks!

    Checked keeping information in 'comment' rather than in the cell?

    Sounds like good idea! Is there a way to move the info from cell to comments all at once?

    1. Open the excel workbook
    2. Alt F11 to open VBE window.
    3. Copy and Paste the code above
    4. In Excel book, select the cells you want the comments to appear
    5. From excel workbook, View-->Macros-->View Macros-->Comments
    6. Done, you will get the comments appearing with the cell values

    No problem man. But I am sorry, I never worked with Mac 2011 version. You could still record a macro while adding and editing a comment and tweak as in my code to get it work with your version.

    Okay thank so much though!
    Anyone else know how to do this. I'm really bad with excel, so I'm clueless.
