    Synching workbook

I have a workbook that is used by two different people on two different computers. I have been using synctoy to keep them updated but ran into a problem that I didn't even realize was happening. Synctoy can only overwrite, rename, delete, or make new, it can't edit. I had a mishap where the person A (who is source on the sync) made changes and person B made changes and after the sync the copy that was on person A's computer was the only thing left completely overwriting person B's work. So what I need to do is have both copies add to each other instead of overwriting. Is this possible?

put this file on a share drive, appoint 1 person to edit the file. or 2 at the max, but the second person has to enable track when s/he changes stuff. I think there is track enable ability in excel right? I had this problem before, but since i own the data, i just told people to send any changes to me.
