Locking Print Areas and Printing Multiple Worksheets

I have built an 8 page spreadsheet. I have unlocked each worksheet, defined the print areas with all adjustments I wanted and then locked the worksheet. I then went to the tabs and clicked on the worksheets that I wanted to print. All sheets printed properly but when I went back to print them again the predefined print areas had disappeared. I don't want the predefined print areas to disappear. What did I not do?
