    keep duplicates, remove the rest?

Hi all, I came here and found an extremely useful script to break up a large sheet into manageable sizes. I'm trying to clean up an old email contact list by validating the email addresses. The way it works is my validator will take a csv and find all the good emails and produce them as a separate list, it's a text file with one entry per line. Unfortunately, my new list of valid emails is missing the rest of the information such as name, ip address, etc.

I'm desperately searching for an efficient way to compare the two lists and KEEP the information with a match in the new list. I'm not looking for elegant, just a way to filter out the bad information so i can upload it back into a database. I even thought about identifying duplicated information by color to separate them.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks.
