Data Validation (comma separated cells)

Here is my problem.
I have a spreadsheet with a column that allows multiple categories to be selected from a drop down list, for each cell. Each category within that cell is separated by commas, and I've not set a limit to the amount of categories selected at this time. In row #1 I have set the data filter to appear, allowing for a rough form of searching. What I can't seem to figure out is, how can I get the data filter to recognize that I want each category that is separated by a comma to appear as it's own selectable field when using the data filter function? Is it even doable? Any assistance in this would be very much appreciated.

Hellix2, the issue is with your VBA code I would suggest you move your post or re-post in in the VBA section.

The best option here is for the OP to report the post so that the mods / admins can move it to the vba forum. Re-posting the thread in the vba section will result in duplicate threads. If the OP has a large number of posts to his/her name, it can even warrant an infraction.
