Copying to multiple cells without dragging.

Is there a way to copy a formula from Cell A1 down to A1500 withhout dragging the fill handle?

    Hi tandi,

If you double click the bottom right corner of the cell with the formula it will autofill down to the bottom.

See it done on this podcast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PqnDYMO3lw

    Hi Marvin -

My formula is a VLookup and it only presents the wage and chargeout infomation, when I enter the name in the column next to it. Since there are not names in all 1500, double clicking the fill handle does not work.
I was hoping there was a way to copy the cell contents in B1 all the way down to B1500 or to whatever cell address I choose.

type b1:b1500 in the name box
    ctrl+enter
    b1:b1500 now selected
    without selecting anything again
    type your formula
    ctrl+enter again
