Inserting blank row in table without copying formula

    Hello

I am trying to insert a blank row into a table (created using the table function in Excel 2010) without the copying the formulas. Every time I insert a row the the formula is copied.

    Any help welcome.

    Hi bbmillions

Is there any reason what you cannot just convert the table to a range, insert a line (which will be blank and then convert to a table?
This can be automated so all of the above is achieved my a mouse click (or a simultaneous 3 key depression)

Let me know if you need help in setting up the macro (which can be recorded)

    Regards
    Alastair

    Thanks for your suggestion, Alistair

I mananged to set up the macro myself. Still can't believe that you can't do such a simple task without creating a macro.
