Talking help need to assign a cell as file name. yes i am a noob.

so i have to type up invoices at work and each invoice i type has a different number. i.e 44056652 or 44056651. i have to print and save each and every single one of them and the file name is the same as the invoice number. so i was wondering if i can assign the cell with the invoice number as my file name so everytime i have to save the file all ill have to do is a simple ctrl+p.

    Thanks for the help.

hi harry, welcome to the forum. maybe something like this:
    =MID(CELL("filename",$A$1),FIND("[",CELL("filename",$A$1))+1,FIND(".xls",CELL("filename",$A$1))-FIND("[",CELL("filename",$A$1))-1)

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.
