In Excel 2013, there is a transition in the cell when values change. I have a DDE feed updating data every few seconds and the folding animation is distracting. Is there a way to turn this off?

I dont have 2013, but have you checked to see if this is happening because of cinditional formatting?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

@FDibbins - it's just a standard transition from the box (no conditional formatting)... like the slide transitions in Powerpoint.
Nothing within Excel. There are suggestions for a registry hack.

hi,
i turn off animation when scroll/moving from one cell to another is :
- click start, right click on computer choose properties
- go to advanced systems setting
- choose Advanced, click settings on performance
- then on Visual Effects click Custom then unclick Animate controls and elements inside windows
now i have smooth moving like excel 2010 from one cell to another cell
thanks @koi, that did the trick.
