Embedding (?) pictures

Hi there!

I'm lookig for way of embedding pictures into the spread sheet which will appear only in certain conditions.

I'm just in the process of creating sheet which will be sourcing data from few tabs of large database.
In theory after keying the part number in one cell all the rest will be filled in automatically. That's the easy bit and using vlookup function only.

What I'm looking to do is to find a way for pictures to appear on that sheet as well. Can't really use hyperlinks or comments as this will not give me visible picture and i need to be able to print them out toghether with other data on the same sheet. Will be looking to add approx 3 pictures per sheet when completed.

I can not use the same database for storring pictures but if someone have an idea how to make it working on all versions starting from 2002 I'll be very appreciating for any help given.
