Generating variations of a persons name

Hi all,

Is there a way to create a macro that will detect and create the different variations of a persons name in Excel?

So for an example, if I had a client named Jose Maria Gonzalez Chavez, where each part of the name are already separated into their own columns. I know that Jose is the first name, Maria is the middle name, and Gonzalez Chavez is the last name (still split in own columns). Now I want a way for excel to automatically detect that I have a firstname, midname and a last name, then I want it to generate the different variations the name can be placed in excel. The variations would be firstname + lastname, lastname+firstname, midname+lastname, and lastname+midname. If the there are two last names, then I would also want to see firstname+lastname_1, lastname_1+firstname, firstname+lastname_2, lastname_2+firstname and same thing with midname.

I have attached an excel spread sheet where the first tab shows the names I want the variations of and the 2nd tab that shows the end result.

Please let me know if this is possible in Excel. Thank you all very much for taking the time to look into this.

Is a solution to this too complex? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
