Time Sheet Calculator - Seeking developer on commercial arrangement

I have been attempting to create what I wouldhave thought was an easy to achieve spreadsheet.

I want to enter the start and finish time of up to five employees in 24 hour time without the need to use a ":"
It just then has to calculate hours worked and multiple that by 2 rates;Cost and Sell.

I have been asking on the forum and everybody has been so helpful. the problem is I am relatively new to anything more than simple add and multiply type.

The advice often went straight over my head.

If anyone is interested to make a few dollars and you have a paypal account or live in Australia let me know.

Assuming you never go past midnight, how about the attached? (If you do need that, it's not hard to add).

    Project Sheet 001 V11.1.xlsm

I have attached as far as I had managed to go. I was given the code to install from the forum. I know nothing of how to code.

The sheet seems to be working now but it has its moments when it starts returning undesirable results. This is a different method to the one you proposed so I would be interested in your thoughts.

Put the following in K12 and copy down:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
This won't work with the date information you have in K11 but, as I understood it, you were going to enter the data as in K12 and elsewhere.

    Hello Bentleybob,

Apologies for apparent dissapearance. I have been unwell with the cold. I have attempted to insert the formula you supplied but i was unable to get it to work.

You must appreciate that I have little or no experience with excel and even studying the formula you provided I have no idea what it means.

My question to you then is (as I have run out of time) are you in a position to develop this sheet under a paid arrangement. If you have a paypal account it would be an easy process.

Not sure this is complex enough to require a paid arrangement. Send me a private message and I'll reply with an e-mail address you can send me what you've got to date. I'll work on it a bit and either come up with a solution for you or indicate where it's difficult enough to warrant payment.

Attached is a file with three tabs. Sheet1 matches your original post, where you enter time as, for example, 1640, to represent 4:40 PM. Your efforts seem to use date format, which is fine, so you can use Sheet2. For the Sheet2 version, though, you need to avoid entering DATES (only time) or your formulas will sometimes go wacky when one has a date and the other doesn't. If that's the case, use Sheet3.
