Greetings,
The strangest thing started happening with my Excel 2010. When I input anything into a cell and hit enter, the input disappears!
Any thoughts on why this his happening?

Hello,
Are you sure the file is not protected?
Is your background color white? Are you using any macro? Are you sure the cell is totally empty after you hit enter? You can do a simple ISBLANK to check it.
If nothing works, can you provide a sample file?
(copy pasta from Ford)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

goes it still show up on the status bar?

The color is not set to white. I can delete cell data, but when I input something and hit enter, or click on a different cell, the input disappears. The worksheet is not protected nor has macros.

After you hit enter in, say Cell B5, can you put a formula somewhere easy to see in your worksheet like =ISBLANK(B5) and see if it's TRUE?
If it is, can you provide a sample of that file?
Here is a sample of the workbook.. Thanks for the attention to this matter..

Weird, I can write anything in any cell in the file, I don't know what's wrong with it ...
I cannot even try the ISBLANK function since whatever I input disappears then I hit enter or click on another cell...

Could it be the settings with this workbook? If I open a new workbook there is no issue... Strange!

I have attached that file with my random input when I faceroll on the keyboard ...
Please see if you can write anything in it now.
P/s: this is a silly suggestion but, did you try Alt-F4 Excel and reopen it?
I still cannot write to this workbook. Instead, I opened Excel then from there opened the problem workbook and now I can write to it.
I don't know if this is considered "SOLVED"... Again, strange...
Thanks for your time and attention... If you discover any further information, please let me know..
Thanks,
-Tommy
