Occasionally I receive an excel sheet that does not show any gridlines. I have tried going into view and making sure that show gridlines is selected. I’ve also tried selecting hide gridlines and then reselecting show gridlines to no avail. Finally I went to Excel options and made sure show gridlines was selected under advanced settings.
The only thing I’ve been able to do is add borders (which I don’t like the look of) or set up a new tab and bring the data over using formulas, then cut and paste values only. If I just copy the non-gridline data, I get a copy without gridlines. I’m sure there must be some easy trick to this – I just don’t know how the spreadsheet author got the gridlines to disappear.
Thanks in advance for any help.
