    Keeping only the decimal?

So I actually have time entered as a number and decimal.

10.29 means 10 minutes and 29 seconds. How can I get that to only seconds 629?

    =(60*value(left(a1,2))+value(right(a1,2)))

    or

    =RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND(".",A1,1))+60*VALUE(LEFT(A1,FIND(".",A1,1)-1))

    Re: Keeping only the decimal?

    Hi gannon_w

    Assuming data is in A1
    =INT(A1)*60+MOD(A1,1)*100
    Regards Kevin
