I have a column with a few dates.
I need a formula to display the previous date to the most current date out of the list.
How do I do that?

why can't you sort them with the sort function?
What do you mean by "most current date"? It might be easier to understand what you want to do by posting an example workbook - the FAQ describes how to.
Hope this helps.

I can't sort them by date because they need to be sorted by account number in another column. The reason I need this date to come up on its own cell is so it can be linked to another sheet. I attached a mock up without all the other stuff to see if it helps..
My column looks something like this..Book1.xlsx
