This happens every once and a while, and it's incredibly frustrating.
While working in Excel my shortcuts will suddenly start doing bizarre things. For example, Ctrl+Z will stop undoing, and will start filling in adjacent cells with +1 modifier formulas. Ctrl+S will stop saving and will start trying to merge cells. One shortcut [drawing a blank which one] will adjust the size, color, and font of a cell to an enormous yellow Arial, for now apparent reason. Some shortcuts are unaffected [Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V still all work as normal]. I have to kill Excel and reload it back up to "reset" the shortcuts so the program will behave as normal.
Anyone have any clue what this is? It sounds like I'm accidentally changing some shortcut profile, but I wouldn't have a clue how.
