To start off, I am a newbie...


I need some help figuring out how to set up a barcode system for multiple inventories, specifically paper.
The system would require some manual input (additions / subtractions) since the amount of paper used fluctuates depending on the order.

I think the best way for the user to be as efficient as possible utilizing manual key strokes is to have a linked cell / column next to the overall inventory count that is activated once the barcode on the product is read. In turn, that cell would be linked to the total inventory cell and once the subtraction / addition is made, the (locked) total inventory count will revise appropriately.

If I am on track with this can someone supply the code to activate the cell where the manual audits are made once the barcode is read.

And by all means, if there is a far better way to accomplish this, I'm all ears.
