    Populate a daily calendar using the dates between Date of Arrival and Date of Departure

    Hi all,

    I'm using Excel 2010. I need to populate a daily calendar with the number of nights spent, extracted from the Date of Arrival and Date of Departure of individuals. I posted something similar recently on this forum (http://www.excelforum.com/excel-form...20#post3255820) and I got some excellent solutions to that problem.
    Now I need a solution to do nearly the same thing but on a daily basis rather than a monthly one. I've played with the formula provided by duanzhuanming in the post I mentioned above by replacing the "MONTH" with "DAY" and "EOMONTH" with "EODATE" but it's not working!

    I've attached a small sample file so that you get an idea of the problem. I've manually filled the second row to illustrate what I want to do.

    dates.xlsx

    In C2

    =IF(AND($A2<=C$1,$B2>C$1),1,"")

    Also format columns A & B as mm/dd/yyyy
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
