Using Conditional Formatting to highlight cells based on days of the month

    Dear All,

I have a sheet where i want to conditionally format Dates (tied to names) from the first sheet to the second sheet.
The second sheet would contain the same Names with the days of the month, where i want the cells for those dates to be marked as red according to the dates which have appeared from the first sheet.

Note: The Dates from the first sheet are randomly generated.

    Hope my explanation is clear.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    In June Sheet

Place the cursor in B7 Cell (Since the below formula refers to B7 cell) and extend the selection upto column AE and down upto row 85.
Press Alt+O+D>>New Rule>>Use a formula to determine which cells to format
Copy and paste the below formula

    Hi Sixthsense,

Thanks so much for your help! It works fine, except that i could not use the code to reference other sheets.
However, i managed to solve it by placing the reference information on the same sheet.

    Thanks a bunch!

    Regards,

If you want to reference it to other sheet then use named ranges
