substitute x values with the meat types listed the first column

Hi Gurus,
Plz help me get a formula that will substitute every X with the actual type of meat. For instance, under Monday column, my table should list Liver, Pork, Mutton and Lamb Stew instead of X.

Mon Tues Wed Thurs Friday
Liver X X
Pork X X
Mutton X X X
Beef X
Lamb Stew X X
X

Hi and welcome to the forum

There is no regular formula that will change what you already have in those cells. But here's what I would suggest...

Copy the table down, exactly as it is. (you and include A and B or not, doesnt matter)
My table has "Monday" starting in C10, but you can put it where-ever you want.
Then use this formula, copied down and across...
=IF(C2="X",$A2,"")
If you want, when you are satisfied with the results, you can copy/paste values back over the original table and then delete the "new" table you just made
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
