Fill colour cells in a row automatically

I have a dropdown list at the end of a row and when I select an option from the dropdown i want all the cells in the row to be filled a particular colour depending on which option I have selected.

    E.g

I select "Sale" from the dropdown so I want that row to automatically fill green.

Hope someone can help, this might be a tough one.

Your description is too general for specific help.
Suppose you are using columns A to J and rows from 1 to 10, then
    Select the entire range
    Use the Conditional Formatting formula:
    =$J1="Sale"
and select green for the fill color
You need a new formula for each remaining condition.
