Hello All,
I have a large table with data, and I would like to have a box at the top, and when some types the name of city, then all records that have the city will come up. Can someone guide me how to do it.

I'm putting this Excel table in my blog, and I would like to have two tabs in there one with the data, and another with the search box, so when they type the information in the box in tab1 the information from tab2 that matches will be populated in tab1 underneath the search box.

Takre a look at using the vlookup function. the syntax is...
=VLOOKUP(what-you-want-to-find,range-to-search-in,column-that-contains-the-match,FALSE) FALSE is for finding an exact match
=vlookup(E1,A2:D200,2,false)
This means...
I want to find the value in E1 (change this to suite your needs)
Look in the range A2:D200 (change this to suite your needs)
If you find E1 in column A2:A200, give me the value in the 2mnd column over (Column B)
false = I want an exact match of E1
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
