Download file to update existing file

I download a CSV file on a daily basis and manually convert the column parameters to conform to my existing spread sheet. I would like to simplify the process, and therefore have several questions.

#1- I would like to have the column numbers: negative in red, comma separated at thousands & drop any decimal places.
#2- I would like to have the font changed from Ariel to Clarendon and the font size increased from 10 to 12.
#3 & 4- Can this be accomplished "automatically"? If so can it be set up to append the existing spread sheet file?

Thanks for looking. Any thoughts on the subject will be appreciated.

perfect example of why people should use macro's

record macro for what you do in 1 & 2 and that will solve #3
below link will help explain recording macro should you need help
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/ex...001054837.aspx

appending is slightly more complicated as you can not just "record" it
if you can give some examples of before and after (with nonsensitive data of course) then we can help you write the second part of the macro
