Option/Check box issue

I have one issue with check/option buttons and a second question relating to the use of option buttons to remove cells.

Question 1:

Question 2: I have data entry areas on a sheet that aren't required when undertaking certain activities. I want to set up an option button for the choices of activities and when a certain activity is selected the cells that are not required for this activity are removed or hidden.

I would have the sheet change the background color to grey or whatever color you like and lock the cell so it can't be edited.
