    Post Deleting record in rows

This is just and example. The actual sheet has columns till M
    and approx 5000+ entries

    I have records in sheet1

    Code Item Qty price
    1001 Pen 1 2
    1002 Book 1 3
    1003 Register 1 5
    1004 Eraser 1 0.5

What I require is say may be in the same sheet or another sheet in any
one of the blank or un-used cell I just keep on entering the Code and give enter.
i.e for example if I give 1001 and enter the rest of the details in sheet1
i.e Pen , 1 , 2 should get deleted but not the Code number.
Now again I give 1004 and enter the details Eraser , 1 , 0.5 gets deleted
    but not the Code 1004.
There will be a blank space in front of 1001 and 1004 after performing the
above operation which I can use anytime in the future to fill up new record.
I have tried various functions but unable to get the result.

Do you have a sample file that you can upload?

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.

    Thanks Debraj.

    Eexpert,

I'm afraid your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).
