is it possible to draw on pictures like in Pen Ink ?

hello excel guru's :

This can be very useful tool. with this skill I would like to draw specific and uniqe shapes over some pictures and give them specific meanings, and use it as a visual and productive tool.

(I hope I've explained myself well, what I want to do is to draw over a picture in excel, with the mouse as a brush in an easy way - I've found an ink toolbar in excel - but I wasn't able to make it work)

Nope - do it in paint first then copy it in to excel

Insert your picture. With the picture selected, click on the Insert tab, Insert Shapes, choose a shape or drawing tool and create what you want over the picture. Size and place the drawn object where you want. Hold down the Shift key and click on all objects that you created over the picture and click on the picture itself so that the picture and all drawn objects are selected then Right Click and select GROUP.

hey budd, thanks - it's a genius tool. I'll defenetly use this "group" trick - combined with win7 new drawing "note diary application" to have free hand drawing . much appreciated !!
