imported table that grows before every import, how do i keep my referencing?

    Hello all,

Ill try and explain this one the best i can.

Currently I am importing data from business objects into Excel, Iafter I import the data I reference it in a new column. The data is continually growing and the next time I import the data I need to add the referencing again, there must be an easier way of doing this?.

Basically the reference is simply me inserting a column and giving each line of data a reference such as D1, D2, D3 etc.. is there a way of when the imported data is imported it can remember which reference was assigned to it and then I only have to reference the new additions to my data which is what I am trying to do.

Hope that makes sence and if there is a better way off doing this i am missing thatll be great too.

    many thanks
    Nathan

    Hi Nathan

The answer to your question is probably yes. If you could upload an example of what you have before the import, your import then someone can give you a specific answer.

    Regards
