Question I cannot create a link bw two cells of two different excel workboks. I am using the correc

I cannot create a link bw two cells of two different excel workbooks. I am using the correct format (tried it on other machines). also, When I open the excel sheet, a dialog box appears "the file has been locked for editing by lenovo" (that's my machine name). It is weird because i do not remember changing any settings.
    Please help.

    I have.
Infact, around 10 people in my office have. Still no luck.
It is something to do with the locked for editing dialog box that appears.
