HELP Cant find a link to a source that is broken

I have a file that opens up with an error that some links can not be updated. If I break the link and save the file it still comes back. I have searched all the sheets looking for the link and am unable to find it. I had used the file it is looking for to copy and paste some data but none of that had any links. There was some conditional formatting, however I have looked at all the rules and again did not find any reference to the file. I also have looked through the macros with the same result. Is there any other way to find the line that is trying to update from the source?

I am at the end of this project and would really really really hate having to start from a fresh file (this one alone took me two weeks of formatting to get to work and look as needed).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try having a look in Formulas --> Name Manager... You may have some names in there referencing another wb

I have looked in the Name Manager and the chart I have. I also have tried using the Find & Select with different options. No Luck. I also removed all the names that I had listed; since it was just print areas.

Ok I found the problem. When I went back through each sheet I used the Circle Invalid Data under the Data Tools and found where the link was. As soon as I formatted the Data Validation correctly and saved the file, I had to break the link through Edit Link in Connections. Now it seems to be good.
